We want to let you know we have had multiple additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 at DCM2. Due to privacy laws, we cannot disclose the names of the individual, but the last day the affected associates were on site was between 11/4/2020 and 12/09/2020. Consistent with our daily processes, the site has undergone enhanced cleanings since their last day.
We continue to follow the CDC’s guidance and will inform any co-workers who may have been in close contact with the affected individual. If someone is found to have been in close contact, we will proactively reach out to the individual to advise them of their possible exposure to COVID-19.
We have taken a number of measures to keep us all safe and healthy, including MANDATORY social distancing of 6ft with daily audits, requiring face coverings for anyone entering the building to wear as a preventive measure, thermal temperature checks for anyone entering the building, staggered shifts, and extended breaks. We also continue to follow the guidance of the CDC, WHO, local health authorities, and private medical experts on other recommended preventative measures. You can read more about what we are doing to keep our team safe
and healthy here.
Reminder: Notification to station associates, drivers, of a confirmed COVID-19 case is an FASTRAQ health and safety requirement and as such, you are required to share this notification with your teams as soon as possible, but no later than prior to the start of their next shift. We have prepared talking points and some frequently asked questions to assist you in delivering that message
ATTENDANCE: Test must be same or next day of developing symptom's or calling off for your scheduled work shift. We only recognize test administered via fully licensed medical facilties, not home self-kit test. And, if you feel sick, please STAY home. To assist you in sharing this message with your teams, we have prepared some talking points and FAQs (see below, and attached document). Adherence to company policy and protocol, alongside providing supporting documentation, you will not be subject to attendance points.
Thank you for everything you’re doing for the community during this unprecedented time.

Today, we learned of multiple confirmed cases of COVID-19 at DCM2. The affected employees were last onsite between 11/4/2020 - 12/09/2020.
We continue to follow the CDC’s guidance and will inform any co-workers who may have been in close contact with the affected individuals. If someone is found to be in close contact, we will proactively reach out to them individually to advise them of their possible exposure to COVID-19. Close contact is defined as being within approximately 6 feet/2 meters.
We understand you may be nervous about coming in to work. We have taken a number of measures to keep each other safe. Our mandatory social distancing procedures of at least 6ft/2m of space, both in our sites and on the road with our customers and communities, will decrease risk of transmission. We have suspended new driver ride along trainings, attended delivery practices (knocking on customer doors, and ringing doorbells), and requiring customer signatures at point-of-delivery.
If you feel sick, you should stay home.
Thank you for everything you’re doing for the community during this difficult time.
We also want to make sure you can get your questions answered, so please contact any manager or HR.
Health Messaging

· Please maintain good hand hygiene and frequently wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If there is no soap/water use alcohol-based hand sanitizer (over 60% alcohol). When coughing or sneezing, be sure to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or flexed elbow– dispose of the tissue immediately into a garbage bin and wash your hands. Stay home from work if you feel sick.
·
We require everyone wears a face covering of some kind covering their nose and mouth from arrival through departure of your shift. We will have face coverings for anyone entering the building to wear as a recommended preventative measure, and if you prefer you may bring your own mask, including fabric masks. We have teams working nonstop to continue sourcing supplies, including masks, and are working hard to stay in stock with masks during this event.
· If you are experiencing any one of these symptoms: shortness of breath, cough or sore throat, whether or not there is a fever, seek medical attention immediately and stay home from work.
· If you are looking for additional information on COVID-19, visit the CDC’s website or local health department’s COVID-19 hotline where you can get further information about prevention, symptoms, what to do if you feel sick, and more.
· Avoid touching your face. Wash your hands thoroughly before eating or drinking (for a minimum of 20 seconds).
· Work uniforms (including work gloves) must be cleaned/washed every day
· If someone is already in a communal space such as smoking area, canteen, stairway...etc. please respect that and stay at least 2m/6ft away for both of your safety.
· Please be aware of and abide by all floor markings as these are put in place to maintain mandatory social distancing and safety of everyone.
· Be mindful of distances while walking or standing with other people. Hang back where possible in order to increase mandatory social distancing.
· If at any point in the route you start to feel unwell, pull over and contact Support who will notify your DSP manager.
· We recommend you do not knock on doors or press doorbells when making a delivery. You should continue to find a safe location to deliver the package and follow the prompts on the FASTRAQ Delivery App. If you cannot find a safe location, only then should you knock on doors or press doorbells and then step back 2m/6ft from the door while waiting for the customer to open the door.
· If, at any time, you do not feel comfortable completing a customer delivery, please contact Support.
· For more mandatory social distancing guidelines, I can email you a Day in the Life guide.
